FATAL FALL.

DEATH OF CQUNTESS. LONDON, July 24. The Countess of Cardigan, who recently returned from South Africa, was killed through falling from a seventhfloor window of tho Savoy Hotel, where she was staying alqne. The countess was in evening dress. She fell near three children playing in the street. The Countess of Cardigan, formerly Miss Joan Salter, of the Isle of Wight, was married to the Earl of Cardigan in 1924.
