SHIPPING AGREEMENT.

BRITISH TRAMP VESSELS. (British Official AVireless.) RUGBY, July 24. British owners of tramp ships have reached a decision to continue on a voluntary basis the measures of cooperation which originated as a, condition of the Government subsidy in 1930. The scheme of co-operation provides for the observance of minimum freight rate 6 and conditions, standard forms of charter and national maritime board shipments and regulations of tonnage. The subsidy scheme is still in operation, but owing to the improvement m the demand for tonnage and the higher freight rates, it is quite likely that the sum of £2,000,000 which has been set aside for the present year null not need to be used.
