L’ONDON MARKET QUIET. I-lemp.—Manila : Market quiet. “K” grade for July-September shipments, and Aughst-October shipments, quoted sellers £32. Output January 1 to July 19, 822,000 bales, ns against 741,000 bales at the same period last year. Stocks in United Kingdom, Juno 30, 9823 bales, as against 20,974 at the same time Inst year. Stocks in Manila, July 19, 162,000 bales, ns against 184,000 bales at the same period last year. Sisal: Market quiet and easier. Septembcr-Novcmber shipments quoted sellers £27 159. New Zealand: Mnrket very quiet; small sales reported. “Fair,” £27 10s; “common, - ’ £26; “rejected,” £24 10s. Stocks in London July 1, 85 tone, as against 77 tons at tho same time last year.
