In the House of Commons, in reply to a question, the Colonial Secretary, Mr W. Onnsby Gore, said that the Government of Palestine, with the assistance of the military authorities, was keeping a close watch on the situation and he was confident that all necessary . measures would he taken to check ''agitation inconsistent with the peace, order and good government of Palestine.
