CARNARVON.
(From Our Own Correspondent ) CARNARVON, July 26. Mr and Mrs P. Scott entertained a few close frionda •of Miss Hansen on Friday evening. Everyone helped to.pass the time very pleasantly with games and competitions. The winners of the “book title” game were Mr and Mrs L. Scott, the letter B competition being won bv Mrs D. Scott and Mr Zajonskowski. Mas Hansen and Mr V McKenzie proved steadiness in carrying peanuts on a knife. With variousother games the time passed quickly to supper time, after which Mr P. Scott expressed the regret of all present at Miss Hansen’s departure from the district and also wishod her happiness and prosperity in her wedded life. She asked her to open the gifts from her friends. Musical honours were accorded Miss Hansen, who thanked all for their kindness to her during her stay in the district, and for tho gifts. “ Messrs Edgar Reeve and A.
