RED TRIANGLE DAY.
Each vear 460 of tho youth of the city are enabled, through the equipment and the programme of the Y.M.C.A., to employ more profitably their leisure time. Each year 460 are challenged by tho char-acter-training principles which are held before them. And thus, over the past 18 years, has the Y.M.O.A of Palmerston North been developing better citizens. Better physically, better morally and socially to 'acquit the duties and responsibilities of citizenship. An appeal is to be made next Friday by the Board of Directors of the local association. The public should realise that by contributing to the street' appeal, they will Eeconte partners in the work, and that whenever they learn of the constructive activity that the YM C A is doing, they will then feel they’ have had a share in its maintenance. A large numiier of lady helpers will assist in the sale of badges, when a substantial feu MI is expected to be conlribided. Tho Ladies’ Auxiliary of-the 1 .M.UA. will conduct a stall in. the Square.
