AUCKLAND PLANS

RECEPTION TO MR NASH. Per Press Association. AUCKLAND, July 27. Plans are being made for receptions to the Minister of Finance and Marketing (Hon. W. Nash) when he reaches Auckland on August 12. Should the Mataroa, the vessel in which Mr Nash is travelling, reach Auckland in the morning, it is likely that a civic reception will be tendered to the Minister at the Town Hall shortly after noon. The Auckland Labour Representation Committee proposes to arrange a social gathering in the evening. It is hoped that the Prime Minister (Rt. Hon. M. J. Savage) will attend this gathering.
