AWATEA’S TRIALS.
26 KNOTS IN OPEN SEA. SYDNEY, July 27. The Awatea to-day underwent trials following her docking for overhaul. The vessel broke all records, attaining a speed in the open sea of 20 knots, using six boilers. , The liner is much improved in appearance now that the funnels have been heightened.
