FORTNIGHTLY MEETING
The speaker at the fortnightly luncheon of the Palmerston North Busi T ntss Girls’ Club, which was held in the Ja’de tearooms, yesterday, was Mr A. M. T.ascelles, who gave an address on health.
Mrs M. H. Oram, who presided, thanked the speaker. She also welcomed as visitors Miss P. Moran and Mrs V, Coker. . , <
Tht,.lmportunity was taken by the 'i-.filsident to present Miss M. Currie, whoso marriage to Mr D. Plank takes place shortly, with an electric toaster from the club. Mrs Oram'wished Miss Currie every future happiness.
