RANGITIKEI HUNT CLUB. Tho annual point-to-point stceplcchaso mooting of tho RAngitikei Hunt Club was held at Marton yesterday in windy weather Tho mooting was held on tho properties of Messrs A. C. Coleman, Dcatli Bros., G. Lampp and R. K. Simpson, on Cliff Line, about two miles from Marton. Mr J. Brice (master) presented tho trophies. Results : LADIES’ HUNTER EVENT. Mr H. J. Cameron’s RAMONA (Miss Cameron) 1 Mr Frank Brice’s, junr., NURMI (Miss IC. Bowman) 2 Mr P. W. Briant’s GLENLEVEN (Mrs Fullerton-Smith) 3
Also started: Peter’s Pie, Target, Gaffy, Flockhart (fell),. Skipper, Bonus, Sergeant, Taitra. MEMBERS’ STEEPLECHASE, weight 12st. About two miles.

Sunrise baulked; Hcency fell, and was remounted. Blue Peter and Sunrise led over the first two fences. Blue Peter took the lead from Zip, and those two outpaced the field, Zip beating Blue Peter homo. ' NOVELTY EVENT. Catch Weights. Mr IC. McIC. Duncan’s NO NAME (Owner) I Mr Hugh Simpson’s QUICKSTEP (A. Marshall) 2 Mr G. 11. Wilson’s SERGEANT (Owner) 1 Also started: Hcency, Happy Landing, Glonlevcn. Won on tho post. HANDICAP POINT-TO-PIONT . STEEPLECHASE. Mr S. F. Bailey’s hr g SIR DANIEL (Daniloff—Ristori), aged . (A. Luppton) 1 Mr Eric 11. Duncan’s TAMBO (Owner) 2 Mr G. 11. Wilson’s HARD GOLD (J. G. Wilson) 3 Also started: Winnagan, Hymgroat, Sabatini, Paddy’s Land, Lactose, Winnagan led by two lengths the first time round from Hard Gold and 'lambo, with Sir Daniel at hand. Several horses fell and were remounted. Winngan Hold on, but the winner came away four fences from homo and beat Tainbo by a length, Winnagan fell two fauces from home. FIUNTERS’ TRIAL.
