A two-year-old parade, tor which entrios aro free, will be held on tho course at 3 p.m. oil September 10, between tho two racing days. Opening the first day’s programme of oight races is the Hunters' Steeplechase (about two miles), followed by tho six furlong maiden event, Okchu Hack Hurdles and Putiki Hack (8j furlongs). The principal race is tho Higgie Handicap, of £250 (ono mile and a distance), tho other oventß being the Seafield Handicap (71 furlongs), Duric Hack (six furlongs) and Flying Handicap. For the second day a very interesting programme will open with tho Debutante Two vcar-old Stakes (4j furlongs), followed by tho Gonvillc Hack Hurdles and tho Trial Handicap. Being tho first classic of the season, tho Wanganui Guinens (one mile) for thrco-yjfßr-olds, should attract great interest. Tips is a sweepstake of £5 each for starters, with £3OO added. Other events on tho same day aro tho Mnrahgai Handicap, of £250 (II miles), Moutoa Hack (one mile and a distance), Owen Handicap (six furlongs), and Spring Hack Handicap (five furlongs). Nominations for all events, also forfeit for the Wanganui Guineas, will close at 9 p.m. on August 20 and weights for first day events will bo declared on August 30, acceptances for tho these closing at 9 p.m. on September 6.
