OBITUARY.

HON. L. NT. ISITT. Per Press Association. CHRISTCHURCH, July 29. The death has occurred of Hon. Leonard Monk Isitt, aged 82. Hon. L. M. Isitt was a former member of Parliament for Christchurch North from 1911 till he retired ill 1925. In 1832 he Was appointed to the Upper House. Mr Isitt was greatly interested in temperance work and had made four trips to England lecturing on prohibition. He established the “Prohibitionist” (later the ‘.‘Vanguard”) a journal to further his aims. MR C. E. TWIST. Per Press Association. NAPIER, July 29. The death lias occurred of Mr C. E. Twist, the racing sportsman, agod 66.
