CATHOLIC DRAMA SOCIETY.
FOUR-ACT COMEDY PRESENTED. The MilHawatu Cathdlib Drama. Society presented a. i'oiir-act comedy, “The Cassilis Engagement,” in St.. Patrick’s Hall as this month's reading, when a high standard was attained. The players were well cast and gave meritorious performances, which were rewarded by the, appreciation and enjoyment of the large audience. Tli* producer was Miss Marjorie Cranston, whose work is well known, and those taking part were Misses M. Cranston, D. W.sclinewsky, M. Boiirke, M. Murphy. A. Bahout, C. Kneebone, M. Spelmaii, M. O’Brien, Messrs H. Harman, L. Smith and J. O’Connell. Three .one-act pl.ays were presented last month, the producers being Mis* Welhvood, Mr Roche and Mr P. E. Flood.
