BRITISH WAR PENSIONS.
COST SINCE 1914. LONDON, July 28. The annual report of the Ministry of Pensions show's that war jjensions since 1914 have cost £1,192,000,000, equal to twice the British pre-war national debt. Beneficiaries total 1,000,000, compared with the peak of 3,000,000.
