DECLINE IN EARNINGS.
STRIKES IN AMERICA. NEW YORK, July 27. General Motors for the second quarter report a decline in earnings of 22,377,000 dollars, due to strikes, which are attributed to the inability of union leadership to control its followers. There were only ten working days without interruption during the quarter.
