, (From Our Own Correspondent.) OTAKI, July 28. White butterflies have again made their appearance in Otaki and district. An enjoyable evening was spent when the Otaki Railway Bowling Club held another of its euchre tournaments. Mr and Mrs Taipua won the first prizes, while the second prizes were awarded to Mi9S R. Royal and Mr A. Mita. , A'pleasant evening was recently spent at the residence of Mr J. F'cldmg, le Horo, when a number of friends assembled on the occasion of h's F'rthday. i\f r [T Barrett, on behalf of the guests, presented Mr Fielding .with a rug, wishing him long life and happiness The death occurred at Chmtchuicli leeently of Mrs Wells, mother of Mr P. Wells, of Otaki.
