HOCKEY.

Prior to the senior Rugby lootball match at Johnston Park on Saturday afternoon a women’s representative hockey game between Feilding and Rangitikei was played. The match was won by Rangitikei, who scored 5 goals to nil. The visitors wero entertained at afternoon tea. Mr E. A. Garlick, president of the Feilding Association, handed over the McKelvie Cup to Mr Aitken on behalf of the Rangitikei Sub-Union. Mr Aitken said that a match against the Taihape Association for the cup would probably take place in the near future. MEN’S GAMES. The Feilding Association’s men’s hockey games in Feilding on Saturday afternoon . resulted:—Wanderers 6 v. Swifts A 1; Colyton 5 v. Swifts B 4.
