fence Rifle Club championship wae held at Bulls on Saturday in fine, though windy weather, and scoring was high. The ranges fired over wore 303, 500 and 600yds, and scores are as follow: W. J. Jenkins 32 34-35—101; R. B. AlcKenzie, 34-34—33 101; D. P. Thorby. 31-35-34—100; W. A. Stevenson, 32—34—33—99; H. Aleads, 31— 33-33—97. Also fired: F. Solor, 35—33—34 —lO2. The elitb championship was won by D. I’. Thorby. with W. A. Stevenson second and H. Aleads third. The Mead* Cup, for the best, scor.es at 300yds, was won by IL B. AlcKenzie, a.nd the following tied for second place: IL Aleads, N. Amon and W. ,T. Jenkins. W. A. Stevenson won the handicap shield. Bulls and HUnterville Rugby thirds met on the. Bulls Domain on Saturday, and after an interesting exhibition the visitors proved victorious by 20 points to 6. The Bulls Women’s Institute dance and card party attracted a large attendance on Friday night. Novelty dances were won as follow: —Luckv Gay Gordons, Aliss G. Thorby and Air W. Evans; 1 spot waltz, Aliss lona Ellery and Air P. Ellery. Winners at euchre were Airs C. AI. Broughton and Mr D. Bfomley, and the runners-up were Airs I*’. Simpson and Air W. A. Churchill.
