KOWHAI PARK.

The caretaker of Kowliai Park (Mr Worsfold) has under glass at present seedlings which should make the park a blaze of colour in several months’ time. Among the plants which will contribute to the scene will bo nemesias, cinerarias, asters, stocks, phlox, salvias, larkspur, and antirrhinums; suitable plots are at present being prepared. The action of children in removing garden seats in the park has caused the caretaker considerable inconvenience. Mr Worsfold stated that recently seats have been overturned and removed to the bush, and besides damaging them the work in replacing them in their usual positions takes time which could be utilised to better purpose-
