MAGISTRATE’S COURT.

Tho fortnightly sitting of the Feilding Magistrate’s Court was held today, Air R. AI. Watson, S.M., presiding. J. E. Fcrgusson was granted an order for possession of his house, occupied by Edward Aloran, the house to be vacated within seven days. Arising out of a motor car collision which occurred on Alay 20, 1937, between a car driven by Samuel Ivernohan, of Palmerston North, and another driven by Roland Wood, the latter was charged with having failed to give way to approaching traffic on his right. The collision occurred near the intersection of Alt. Biggs-Halcombe Road and the Bulls-Mt. Biggs Road. Sergeant Angland appeared for tho prosecution and Air T. L. Seddon for defendant. It was admitted in evidence that tho approach to the intersection was obscured by tall toi toi and visibility obstructed by its presence. The charge was dismissed.
