TRADE WITH AMERICA.
AUSTRALIA’S EXPORTS. Received August 4, 11.5 a.m. CANBERRA, Aug. 4. For the first time since the Federation Australia achieved a favourable trade balance with America; the exports in the last financial year exceeded the imports by £1,047,000. This figure takes into account the export of bullion and specie valued at £5,630,000.
