COLLINS CUP.
RED CROSS SOCIETY. Great interest is being shown in the Collins Cup competition for home nursing which is being held in St. Andrew s Hall on Saturday, commencing at 12.30. The cup was presented by the late Dr Collins for competition between teams of six incmbers from Red Cross centres. This is tho first year the competition has been held in this centre. Teams have been entered from Napier (21. Hastings, Hawera, Wellington, and Palmerston North. Napier A team aro tho present holders. The competition covers all the training of tho members in homo nursing. The judging is carried out by members of the lramed Nurses’ Association and is really a tost ot efficiency. In the evening a social will be held (when the ladies are requested to bring a basket), at which the marks of the teams will be announced and the cup pro.ented to the winners. A service is included in the programme, and will be held at St. Andrew’s Church on Sunday morninar.
