“GIANTESS” IN COURT.
WITNESSES ARRIVE. Received August 5, 1.25 p.m. VIENNA, Aug. 4. Charged with slandering the manageress of a show where she is appearing, Fraulein Gisebi. who is seven feet tall and claims to be the world’s tallest woman, was forced to how her head to enter the Court. She had called the world’s fattest sisters in her defence, but the larger was unable to climb' the stairs to the Court room. The lesser, weighing half a ton, managed to climb up when helped l>y several strong men. She squeezed through the door and collapsed panting. Four midgets also were witnesses, bitt all the effort was in vain when it was found that the giantess was able to speak only Hungarian and. as no interpreter was present, an adjournment was necessary.
