AWAPUNI TRACK HEAVY. TIDE WAITER'S FINAL TRIAL. (By “Spectator.”) There was no galloping on tho course propor at Awapuni this morning, this track boing closed temporarily to training operations owing to its heavy condition. Pace work was done on the sand, trotting on tho plough, and galloping on the No. 2 grass track. Tidowaitcr, who is to go to Riccarton to-morrow night, underwent a final trial gallop, moving very satisfactorily.
