MEETING AT KOPANE. The monthly meeting of the Kopane Women’s Institute was held at Mrs Dawbin’s home recently. Apologies for absence were received from Airs Alarshall and Airs Martin. Several visitors

were welcomed. Alembers listened with great interest. to a most instructive talk on poultry-keeping by Airs Drew. The competition lor jam tarts resulted in Mrs Russell and Mrs L. Boddy being firat equal, Aim Glasgow second and Mrs Dawbin ' third. Aliss Boddy won the “best bloom” ■ competition, with Airs Glasgow second and Airs Prentice third.
