HOLIDAY AT BALMORAL.
REST FOR KING AND QUEEN. (British Official Wireless.) Received August 6, 12.15 p.m. RUGBY, Aug. 5. After months of Coronation and other public ceremonial, the King and Queen .are. now at Balmoral and have ahead of them six weeks of rest and relaxation in this Scottish scene they both love so well. At Aberdeen yesterday the Queen asked the Provost about the progress of the new infirmary, which the Queen, as Duchess of York, opened last- September, and expressed pleasure that Aberdeen had since then raised tho £IOO,OOO required to free the institution from debt. VISIT BY KING AND QUEEN. (British Official Wireless.) RUGBY, Aug. 4. ■ The King and Queen received a stirring welcome on their arrival in Aberdeen from London this'morning. They drove through decorated streets thronged with thousands of spectators into the country and travelled through gaily-decorated towns and villages to Balmoral —a distance of about 45 miles. It is announced that Their Majesties have decided to pay a visit to Lancashire next May.
