During the past week the butter market in London lias displayed a firm tendency and the tone on the cheese market has been a steady one. Current quotations are as follow, those previously cabled being included in parentheses:— Butter. —Danish, 120 s (1245). Choicest salted: New Zealand, 119 s to 120 s (118 sto 119 s) ; Australian, 118 s (117 s). Unsalted: New Zealand, 121 s (118 s to 119 s); Australian, 120 s (117 s to 118 s). . Cheese.—-New Zealand : White, 74s to 74s Gel (755) ; coloured, 71s to 77s (725). Australian: White, not quoted (not quoted) ; coloured, not quoted not quoted).
