The Beach Sunday School’s annual prizegiving gathering was Held recently, when a concert was presented by the children to an appreciative audience of parents and visitors, with Darcy Wilson as programme announcer. Items were rendered by the followingP. Henderson, O. and B. Williams, Melva, Myrtle and Doreen Boyce, O. and P. Williams, J. Rosvall .and D. Wilson, J. Parfitt, J. Hartley, V. Bent, C. Tunnieliffe, M. Williams, G. McGlone, Ray Tunniclift'o,' and L. Butler. M. 11. McConchie said that the roll was steadily mounting and that the average attendance of 35 to 40 was very encouraging for file teachers. Mr Riches, a former superintendent, presented the prizes. Results were Junior Bible class girls, D. Boyce, 1, B. Western 2. M. Boyce 3; special attendance, 0. Williams and B. Williams; senior girls, P. Henderson, Z. Lind, G. and E. Bent; senior boys, 1).
