MELBOURNE.
Thursday. The Jury for the Fine Arts Section of the International Exhibition have awarded the Wai 'ham Watch Ccmpany a first order of merit for engraving and enamelling. The company thus takes the highest award for watches. It has transpired that confidential communications have passed between the Government and the leaders of the Opposition m the Legislative Council, with a view to bring about harmony on the Reform question. The Orient Company's Lusitania, from Plymouth. |is bringing a large quantity of frozen fish to the colonies.
