THE STIFFENING OF GOLDEN CROWN.
The Auckland Jockey Club held a meeting to-day m reference to the stiffening of Golden Crown m the Panmure Handicap. The stewards after hearing the evidence decided to disqualify the horse ; Byers, the owner ; and his son, as his jockey, from running on any course under the Jockey rules, for ever.
