MR. OLIVER'S RESIGNATION
WELLINGTON, Last Night. The Government have received the resignation from Mr Oliver, of his portfolio as Minister of Public Works. The reason is, the loss of his business manager and nephew, Mr John Eva, who was lost m the Tararua, and the consequent call made upon him for" "attention to his private business.
