DR SKAE'S DISMISSAL.
At a Cabinet meeting held yesterday, the case of the Inspector of j Lunatic Asylums underwent careful consideration. The report of the Royal Commissioners and Dr. Skae's reply were duly considered, when after mature deliberation the Government decided to give Dr. Skae six months' notice of the termination of his engagement.
