News is also to hand from Pretoria that the trial has been concluded of the Boers who were arrested and charged with the murder of Captain Elliott, a Finish officer, while he was unarmed and a prisoner of war on paiole during t l- e war. r l he jury, which was composed of Dutch residents, has returned a vei% diet of not guilty, i.nd the prisoners have been released.
