Under a Master* There has been a change ofmaster m fhis school since my last visit. The present ,xpa?ttr,' : "Mr ; Herbert Sanson, came m September. He is m no way responsible for the meagerness of the results ofv the examination. This is his first school; but he was previously known to me* as ia pupil-teacher m the Marton school. He is young for the superintendence of such a peculiar school as this. It is, however, m. very good order* nind I itbink wiir do;, well nnderhiin*ifl|imately J ifb» be not uns duty interfered with. . ; The Ist Standard did badly j the .arithmetic was., very weak. The Bnd .and 3rd Standards made indifferent passes ; geography and "arithmetic were bad. The 4th Standard was a failure, and the sth was on the border line of. itThe Chairman and l three jnembers* of the^chodl Committee were 1 present m the course of the examination. The duplicate schedules were for. Warded to the Chairman of the School i^rainittep on the 4th of October last.
