Per Press Association. Wellington, This Day. The district over which each Official Assignee will administer is the same as the Snpreme Court districts. Wellington, Nov. 14. At a meeting of the Cabinet to-day, it was decided to recommend to His Excellency the Governor the names of four gentlemen for appointment ai official assignees tmder the net Bankruptcy Act. The gentlemen are, for Auckland Mr John Lawson, formerly connected with Brogden and Sous, and for some time commissioner for the North Is'and railways. For Wellington, Mr C. .C. Graham, at present Town Oieik. "' For : Chrislchiirch, Mr C. E. jLatteT, a well-known resident. For Dunedin, Mr J, A^hcroft, uutil recently ■editor of the Otago Daily Times. The appointments will be gazetted as soon a* his Excellency has given his assent.
