THE TERRACE END BOOTH.
TO THE EDITOR OF THE M.D. TIMES. Dear Sib, — Can you inform me why a notice was only inserted m the Standard informing the rate** payers that the Hall at Terrace End could be used lor the purpose of voting for a Councillor on Monday next. Is this another scheme emanating from the Borough Office, by only inserting the information m the Standard so that the majority of the ratepayers may be ignorant of the fact? The public have had quite enough of this sort of work m the past. Perhaps the Town Clerk can give the information. I am, &c, Justice. [Our correspondent is wrong m his facts. The advertisement he refers to was sent into our office yesterday, with the order to insert it with the election advertisement on Friday and Saturday On those days it will duly appear. — Ed M.D, Times.] '
