July 2. The South Australian revenue last year amounted to £2,010,000, a decrease of £85,000 compared with the previous year- The Customs receipts decreased during the twelve months by £108,000, and «he land revenue by £75,000, In the, House of Assembly last night, Mr Colton, Premier and Colonial Treasurer, made a statement m which he announced that the budget shows a deficit of £893,000, and that it was the intens I tion of the Government to propose the imposition of a land-tax and i income-tax.
