Inveecabgill, Last. Night. The Police Court hearing of the charge against Daniel Swan for the mnrder of his wife had Dot concluded when the Court rose for the day. Evidence was to the same effect as that given at the inquest. One of accused's sons said thai accused's head was penetrated by a stone some years ago, and it was supposed to be still embedded there. His head would at times swell at the seat of the injury. The latest occasion was the only one in which he had known accused to attack hii wife without preliminary altercation. ' •
