The Political Question.

Wellington, Last Night. The Farmers' Union Conference concluded iis debate on politics by carrying the following resolution unanimously, " That it be an instruction from the Conference to Ihe Executive that two questions, dealing with freehold and the franchise be drawn up and sent to the Provincial Executives, together with such other questions as they consider of colonial importance to the Union, to be submitted through the branches to the various candidates at the corning general election, with the recommendation that the members of the collective branches use the right influence to support one candidate only in each electorate who replies satisfactorily to the above questions.
