The annual match for the Loring Cup between the Oroua (Feilding) Bowling Club and Thorndon (Wellington) was played on the Thdrndon green to-day. Oroua obtained a commanding lead in the aggregate until toward the end and also led in four rinks. Then a change camo over the game, all the Tliorndon rinks scoring

threes, fours and fives in the concluding heads. The match ended in each winning threo rinks and Tliorndon won on the aggregate by 120 to 107. Scores (Tliorndon mentioned first): — Nelson 34 v.
