ST. JOHN’S CLUB MEETING The annual meeting of St. John’s Tennis Club was held last Friday evening, the Rev. Canon Petrie presiding over a good attendance. The report and balance sheet, already published, was adopted, the chairman, congratulating members on the success of the past season. Mention was also made of the increasing interest in tbi3 summer sport which was claiming the attention of so many young people. It was decided to' carry out certain, repairs to the court fixtures and to open the season on October IS,
