Successful Bridge Party at Feilding

A very large and. most successful bridge party in aid of funds for the Oroua Bowling Club took place on Thursday evening at the "W .D.IT.TT. rooms and was organised by Messrs C. B. Aitken and C. Hausmann, president and vice-president respectively, of the bowling club. The decoration of the lounge was beautifully carried out with flowers in white, gold and pink colouring, and a sumptuous supper was provided by the ladies of the Oroua Croquet Club assisted by a number of the bowlers’ wives. The many patrons who favoured the occasion found it a most enjoyable one and were altogether delighted with their evening’s entertainment. The prize for the highest score was won by. Mr J. B. Petrie and that for the lucky number by Mr Hausmann.
