From Our Own Correspondent. Funeral of the Late Otto Wishnowsky. A very representative gathering of Halcombe and district paid their last respects to a very old identity in the person! of the late Otto Wishnowsky, whose funeral took place on Saturday. Rev. Te Funga conducted a short service at tho house, and then the cortege left for (lie Lutheran Church. Rev. Te Punga’s address wa abased on John 36, verse 22. The uncertainty of life and Die certainty of the resurrection was faithfully and sympathetically presented to the mourners who filled the church. After this service the funeral continued to the Halcombo cemetery when the last burial rights were carried out. Many beautiful wreaths covered the casket, silent expressions of sympathy from friends and relatives. The pall-bearers were Messrs AI. and E. Wishnowsky, E. Johnski, C. Lee, N. Bryant and A. Wapp.
