With the Relief Workers

At a well-attended meeting of the Unemployed AVorkcrs’ Movement organisation held on Monday evening, several matters of importance regarding relief workers were discussed. It was proposed to hold a euchre tournament every Thursday evening and a picnic on Labour Day with a concert in the evening. Strong committees were sot up to make tbc necessary arrangements. •Strong exception was expressed in connection with the unemployed tradesmen working at- their trade on relief works at relief pay. It was decided to get in touch with tho authorities to get the matter adjusted. In the matter of task work for relief rations, it was again decided to approach the Central Relief Committee.
