FULLY ARMED. A woman appeared at a village school the other day and asked to see Miss Brown, one of the teachers. This young lady saw the woman alone in the corridor. “Are you Miss Brown 1 ?” the woman asked the teacher, who had observed a large hammer hidden behind the woman’s back. “Ycs-s, yes-s,” stammered the nervous teacher. “Well,” said the woman, “I’ve come to knock that nail down on the form where my Tommy sits. It’s fearin’ holes in his trousers!”
