From Our Own Correspondent. Ping Pong. To mark the conclusion of the ping pong season a tournament was held in the local meeting house on Monday evening last. There was a very large attendance of representatives from Colyton, Feilding, Te Arakura, Bunnythorpe, Maldno and Massey College clubs. Keen interest was evinced in the games, especially the finals, in which Miss N. Price met Miss J. Cheetham, the latter proving victorious, and Mr. M. Lurie plaved Mr. W. Dunn, the former winning by‘a small margin. At the conclusion of the games local players entertained the visitors at supper, after which Mr. G Fitzgerald, in an appropriate speech, presented the trophies to the successful contestants. A dance followed which was continued until the early hours of the morning, music being supplied by Messrs Durie Bros., assisted by much appreciated extras by several of the visitors.
