Car Sickness
Children who suffer from car sickness aro always a problem on a long journey. They either have to be packed off separately in a train or boat, or just have to make the best of feeling sick and miserable on the motor trip. The following treatment sometimes helps: For a few days beforehand keep fats low and omit meat, giving protein —fish, cheese or nuts. Increase natural sugars in dried fruits and honey, and on the morning of the journey give broad and honey and dried fruits, and a drink of fruit juico, no butter or milk. Ten minutes before starting, give a pinch of bicarbonate of soda in
water, and allow a pieco of barley sugar on the journoy.
