AN UNDERTAKING IN THE FELLMONGERS’ DISPUTE.

An unexpected development occurred in the fellmongers’ strike, when, at the request of the men, the DeputyRegistrar of the Commonwealth Arbitration Court agreed to summon a compulsory conference of the Board of Reference constituted under tho wool and basil workers’ award, to discuss proposals for a settlement of the dispute.
