“Bathroom” Evening For a Bride-elect
Her wedding day approaching, Miss M. Oliver was tho guest of honour at a delightful evening tendered her by a number of friends and held at the rosidouco of Mr. and Mrs. D. Oliver, Shamrock street, on Thursday last. Games, competitions and dancing entertained tho guests very pleasantly, competition winners being Miss G. Bates and Mrs. Oliver. At supper time Miss R. Carmont extended good wishes to Miss Oliver and asked her acceptance of all the gifts her friends had brought to furnish the bathroom in her now home. Mr. D. Oliver returned thanks on behalf of his sister. Thoso present were Mesdames Oliver and Graham, Misses Oliver, R. Carmont, B. Short, B. Collins, D. Bennett, M. Pricchard, G. Higgins, 11. and B. Lang, M. Bruce, Messrs Brant, G. Lynn, R. Hinc, L>. Oliver, E. Ware and J. Evans. A. very happy party terminated with ‘‘Auld Lang Syne.”
