All Saints’ Children’s Home
(To the Editor.) Sir, —May I again trespass on your kindness in making known through your paper that the 27th birthday party will be hold on Saturday, October 14, at 2.30 p.m., at the All Saints’ Children’s Home in Pascal street? The home is full,, and many deserving cases have had to be turned down. This is a big family to keep going, but we have always had the sympathy and help of the people of Palmerston North. To care for the orphan and distressed is a Christliko undertaking, and we ask that as in former years we may have your support again. We ask it for thoso who are unable to help themselves, and commend to your generosity the needs of the little ones. Below is mentioned somo of the articles the matron of the home would find most helpful. These are difficult times, and any assistance will be most gratefully received. —I am, etc., G. Y. WOODWARD, Chairman, All Saints’ Children’s 1-lome Committee.
